Glenside girl on form at Great Yorkshire Show
Championship honours in the Texel classes at the Great Yorkshire Show went the way of John Forsyth's Glenside flock, with top honours falling to a two crop ewe from his Maybole, Ayrshire-based flock.

This ewe, FPG 1000038, a daughter of 33,000gns sire Muiresk Blondin is out of a dam by Castlecairn Keltic Star and had been reserve female and reserve breed champion at last month's Royal Highland show.
She is a full sister to Mr Forsyth's double Highland interbreed winning ewe FPG 1000017, which stood ahead of her at the Highland this year.
